- 1 bag of green beans, trimmed
- 1/2 tbsp garlic puree
- 1 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- Olive oil
- Pine nuts
Boil the broth in a pot or pan on med/high heat. Add beans and a pinch of salt depending on the strength of flavor of your broth. Cover and stir the beans periodically so they cook evenly. When the green beans are tender, drain the green beans into a colander.
Turn the stove onto medium heat. Drizzle olive oil into the same pot or pan. Add the garlic and saute until lightly golden. Add green beans back to the pan and toss them into the olive oil/garlic mixture. Add salt to taste.
Before serving, add pine nuts over the top.
